There will be an organizational meeting for the North-Central Chapter of the Gaining Ground Sustainability Institute of Mississippi ( coming up next Friday, 7/8, 6:30 PM at Honey Bee Bakery. Mark your calendars right away!
Bring a snack or drinks if you’d like, but most importantly bring your ideas and your enthusiasm! They will be discussing upcoming project ideas, such as the farm-on-wheels project that is currently underway, and will be looking to hear your ideas for local community projects as well. They will also be electing officers, so if you think you might want to take on a formal role with the organization then be sure to attend! All positions are open and all are encouraged to nominate themselves. Alison Buehler and/or Marion Sansing will be in attendance from Starkville to explain GGSIM in detail and to answer questions. It’s a great organization that we are proud to be associated with and are happy to bring to this area.
Join us to find out how you can save, learn, grow and conserve in your home, business and community. We are building community and communities across Mississippi around sustainability.
Please feel free to pass this along to anyone else you think may be interested in attending and bring a friend if you come!
